Medical Benefits from BlueCross BlueShield of Texas

Blue Cross and Blue Shield knows Major Medical health care coverage and is available to our employees through our ProSourceSolutionsInsurance group. Blue Cross Blue Shield is Texas born and bred, and their mission since founding more than 70 years ago has been to provide financially sound health care coverage to as many as possible.

Reliance Standard Limited Health Benefit plan is another group insurance for our clients seeking a less expensive plan for their workers. This plan offers great coverage for working families on a budget, gives peace of mind that benefits are there when required.

Life and AD&D

As an employee of ProSourceSolutions, you will receive a life insurance policy valued at $10,000.00 that is customizable to various amounts.

Voluntary Benefits

The benefits that are listed below are known as voluntary benefits.
This means that you, the employee elect can elect coverage after 90 days of full-time employment and are solely responsible for payment of the premium, except for the life insurance provided by ProSourceSolutions.

Reliance Standard Health Insurance

These are not comprehensive major medical plans, nor are they intended to replace a major medical plan. These plans are intended to provide you, and your dependents, with basic insurance coverage.

Supplemental Policies 

 Colonial Life & Accident Insurance

Colonials’s SHORT TERM DISABILITY INCOME PROTECTION insurance replaces a portion of your income if you become disabled because of a covered accident or sickness.

Colonial’s ACCIDENT INSURANCE is designed to help see you thorough the different stages of care, this plan provides benefits for initial care and treatment, in addition to the follow –up care you may need.

Colonial’s CANCER INSURANCE helps protect yourself and your family from the high cost of cancer treatment.

Colonial’s CRITICAL INSURANCE pays a lump sum benefit upon diagnosis of a covered critical illness for you to use where it’s needed most.


There are two types of Dental Insurance – Indemnity (go to your own dentist) offered by MetLife and DHMO (co-pays for services) offered by MetLife Safeguard.

The MetLife PDP plan has a $50.00 deductible. The maximum calendar year benefit per insured is $1,500. In order to minimize your out of pocket expenses, use a network dentist. The MetLife network of dentists is located at the Employee menu. If you utilize the services of a dentist not in the MetLife network, your benefits will be reduced.

Vision exams, frames and lenses are provided on a co-pay basis as long as you use an MetLife network provider. There is also an allowance for contact lenses. The list of network providers can be located at A brochure detailing all of the benefits is available from ProSource Solutions.


Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
FSAs or 125 plans or Cafeteria Plans are some of the terms associated with the Pre-Tax deduction benefit for medical needs or childcare.
This account plan can be offered to our co-employment workers who have passed the 90 day probationary period.
